If your child loves animals then you will hopefully already have stumbled across Patricia Furstenberg and her wonderful animal stories; this book is no exception to that trend – Belle Cat is deliciously cute, furry fun and I absolutely adored it.” (Bex, 5* Amazon Review)

Although written for children, a lot of adults will enjoy the poem. If the reader has, or has previously had dogs in their lives they will laugh along with what this dog gets up to and find themselves thinking ‘this is true!’ I certainly did!“(Puppy, 12 Months of Rhyme and Smiles, 5* review by Whispering Stories)

Movie Music Monday, Love Actually, Christmas is All Around via @PatFurstenberg #Christmas #moviemusicmonday

Movie Music Monday, “Love Actually”, “Christmas is All Around” via @PatFurstenberg #Love Actually #Christmas #moviemusicmonday

Perhaps one of the most hilarious and romantic Christmas movie – British humor at its best – who can resist Emma Thompson’s honest performance, Liam Neeson’s heart braking, single dad rendition, Colin Firth’s romantic proof of love (so Victorian!) and Bill Nighy’s originality? Oh, and Alan Rickman, RIP, seven years before Severus Snape…

“I feel it in my fingers,
I feel it in my toes,
Christmas is all around me,
and so the feeling grows
It’s written in the wind,
It’s everywhere I go,
So if you really love Christmas,
C’mon and let it snow?
You know I love Christmas
I always will
My mind’s made up
The way that I feel
There’s no beginning
There’ll be no end
Cuz on Christmas,
You can depend
You gave your presents to me
And I gave mine to you
I need Santa beside me
In everything I do
You know I love Christmas
I always will
My mind’s made up
The way that I feel
There’s no beginning
There’ll be no end
Cuz on Christmas,
You can depend
Cuz on Christmas,
You can depend
It’s written on the wind
It’s everywhere I go
So if you really love me
C’mon and let it snow?
C’mon and let it snow?
So if you really love
C’mon and let it
If you really love me
C’mon and let it
Now if you really love me
C’mon and let it snow?”

The #MusicMonday meme was created by Drew @ The Tattooed Book Geek. You can pick a song that you really like and share it on Monday. I thoroughly enjoyed this blog feature on Mischenko’s lovely blog, ReadRantRockandroll .

What are your thoughts on Love Actually? Have you watched it yet? If not, December is a good month to watch a romantic comedy with fantastic lines.
