    1. Thank you for letting me know, Eunice.

I checked the link from my PC and it works.
If I click on the link on my phone, the page that opens tells me that the connection is not secure – I click “continue to site” and the page with the poem opens.

  1. I am glad you think so, Pieter.
Nature can tell us so much about a place – and we can connect with a land by getting to know its environment. Africa is a gorgeous land.

  2. I have mixed feelings after reading your poem. Love for Africa is absolutely beautiful. But I can’t help wondering how Love for Romania would sound like. A bit grim, I suppose… Anyway, best of luck with the competition. I guess your fans can’t vote for you this time (?)

  3. Thank you for taking the tie to read my poem, Jo 🙂

Yes, you will need a SA ID number to create an account before voting on the AVBOB website.

  4. This is wonderful news Patricia! The poem is absolutely beautiful, no wonder it was accepted in AVBOB Poetry Competition.

  5. Congratulations Pat.. Like Eunice,.. I unfortunately, couldn’t read it either. But I know how good it is because i know your work!!
