The wondrous one that sneaks out while we languidly watch the sea change its colors? The pressing ones that run away as soon as our mind got caught in the seagull’s wing. The long forgotten ones that elope us before we even blink the sun away.

Dressed today only in russet and sepia, underneath a cloak of raindrops, Autumn painted her lips scarlet to match her passion for life.
Whoever said Autumn if full of dead lives hasn’t seen her jumping through puddles.
Autumnal Sepia and a Letter from a Squid
Autumnal Sepia and a Letter from a Squid are my thoughts on subdues autumnal colors.
When I think of sepia, first to come to mind are treasured family mementos on small squares of glossy paper with laced edges, or the 1930’s “pearl” colored MGM movies.
Yet sepia is also one of Autumn’s gifts.
