The Rose at the End of my Garden, a poem
If you walk through the garden and follow the path,
Past the spot where the dogs love to nap,
Past the corner and up a step,
Past the grass that’s half sun, half shade…
According to lunar folklore, the full moon of May is the Flower Moon. Between the evening of August 11 2022 and the morning of August 12 we can see the last supermoon of 2022. The next one will rise in August 2023. The side of the moon that faces Earth will be fully illuminated by the sun, because the moon arrives at a position opposite the Sun. This allows the Sun’s light to fully fall on the area of the moon facing our planet. A Full Moon is six times as bright as the Half Moon.

Much or less is known about Afghanistan and its dangerous landscape. An old Afghan proverb says: ‘There is a path to the top of even the highest mountain.’ Of course there is, and a view to go with it. A history lesson too, I would add.

Tracing the history of name Furstenberg I discovered some coins, perhaps part of a treasure found in a castle, as well as porcelain fit for a King residing on a Parisian Street.
